What counts as a message

Every message sent for you: bulk sends, sequence steps, inbox and chat replies, auto-replies and flow messages. Incoming messages are free and unlimited. Failed sends don't count.

Meta's charges are separate

Meta bills its per-message charges to your own WhatsApp Business account at Meta's rates — we don't mark them up. (WhatsApp API pricing.)

When you reach a limit

Trial ended / allowance used: sending pauses with a clear message in the dashboard and in chat. Queued bulk sends and sequences wait and resume automatically after you upgrade (or when the next month starts). Nothing is deleted.
Numbers: connecting more numbers than your plan covers asks you to upgrade. Updating an existing number's token never counts.
