Why we built SendFromChat

Businesses everywhere already talk to customers on WhatsApp. People read WhatsApp messages; they don't always read email. So when a business outgrows replying from a phone, it moves to the WhatsApp Business API — and hits a wall.

The wall

The API itself is good. Everything around it is work:

• Setup spread across three Meta dashboards, with a token that quietly expires after 24 hours if you use the wrong one.
• Templates that get rejected for a missing sample value or a variable in the wrong place.
• A 24-hour rule where messages outside the window are accepted and silently dropped.
• Messaging limits that start at 250 people a day, and quality ratings that fall when you send too much, too fast.
• Spreadsheets with phone numbers in twelve formats.

Platforms like Wati solve this with a big dashboard and per-seat pricing. That's great for support teams. It's a lot for a founder who just wants to send the launch announcement, a developer who wants delivery notifications, or an agency running WhatsApp for ten clients.

What changed

AI assistants got good at exactly this kind of work: understanding what you want, checking rules, filling in the details, and asking before doing anything irreversible. With the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini and others can now use real tools — not just write text about them.

So instead of learning another dashboard, you can say:

Here's my customer list. Send the summer offer to everyone who bought in the last 90 days, with their first name.

…and the assistant checks the template is approved, maps the columns, shows you real rendered messages, tells you how many go out today, and sends when you say yes.

What SendFromChat is

SendFromChat is a WhatsApp Business platform built on Meta's official Cloud API, with two front doors:

1. An MCP server that any AI assistant can connect to with one link.
2. A dashboard with the same features, for when you'd rather click than type.

Behind both: template validation that catches Meta's rejections before they happen, contact import that finds the phone column itself, sending paced under your limit, new-number warm-up, an inbox, auto-replies, chatbot flows, drip sequences, and STOP handling that's always on.

What we believe

• You should own your WhatsApp. Your number, your Meta account, Meta's charges billed to you at cost. Leave any time.
• Protect the number first. A banned number is the worst outcome, so the safe behaviour is the default — not a setting.
• Every feature on every plan. No per-seat pricing, from $19/month, 30 days free.
